This lovely book arrived today! I have a bad habit of starting to look at a book from back to front. Always ending up in the front...of course...I first read, "RED The Blessing". I read this first because I am drawn to pops of red in decorating our new (old) home. Just reading those few pages, a whole swirl of different emotions captured my heart - love the Jewish traditions presented (I too love the movie, Fiddler on the Roof), tense moment with the author's husband ketchup incident, heartbroken feeling his mama's desperation, to finally laughter...ketchup kept in the fridge!! This very small reading moment has just made me hunger for more! Needless to say, I will read this book in it's entirety!! To the author: Thank you for saying "yes" when Heavenly Father called you to write this book.

I Made the Rainbow is a story of hope. Deborah candidly and humorously shares from the canvas of her own heart everything from how to fashion an inviting, warm home atmosphere to the benefits of forgiveness and the assurance that God’s love will heal our past hurts and pain. Her creative use of the colors of the rainbow vividly paints the picture of wholeness in every area of a woman’s life. You will be inspired to breathe new life into your home and your relationships while adding value to yourself as you allow the light of His rainbow to shine through.

Great Life-Affirming Book! Although written for a feminine audience, I picked up this book from my wife's shelf and I loved it! Great mix of personal stories and experiences with Christian insight and contemplation. Book finishes strong with chapters on grace (violet) and the gray skies that darken our lives. Encouraging in all respects. And I even know just a tiny bit about interior design now!

Deborah possesses the gift of making others feel great about their surroundings, which is a ministry of love within itself. The words she penned in this book are just an extension of what she practices and gives with so much love! You will appreciate the gift of authenticity she offers as she mentors you in this book.

Deborah Dutton teaches with love, grace and humor that true decord designs with heart and purpose. Love this book, and how a Successful Interior Designer shows us that decorating your home is more than surface decor. Its about allowing the true authur of the rainbow, God color our homes and relationships with his covenant love, that beautifies, builds, heals, and colors. How important the home is, and how we can decorate and build up home and relationships with Gods design truely has his signature on it. Its about valuing the family and home, the relationships and creating an environment that reflects the love, the color, the very signature of Gods love in our homes, and lives.

Deborah Dutton has written a beautifully woven book on interior decorating that goes much deeper than paint on a wall. She artfully ties together the various colors God gave us and makes spiritual applications that had me saying, “Wow, I never thought of that” over and over again. This is a must read for those wanting to understand, not just interior decorating, but how to change your life and those dwelling with you by the design of your home.
